She has spent ten years photographing with DSLR and SLR cameras, specializing in portraits, athletics, dance recitals, events, and nature.

She has also worked in journalism, design, and marketing, and have designed advertisements as well as marketing materials and logos for the North Carolina Department of Agriculture, Keds, Sebastian Hair Products, American Eagle Outfitters, Nordstrom, Lancome, Park Scholarships, North Carolina State University, and The Krispy Kreme Challenge
